The Maryland Independence Tunnel in Lagos wore a new brand look as Nigeria celebrated her 56th Independence Anniversary on October 1, 2016.
Nigerian brands have upped their grame since
Since Saka (Hafiz Oyetoro) was
poached from Etisalat by MTN, Nigerians have been on the lookout for the next
smart move by competing brands. The latest brand move is the takeover
of the independence tunnel at Maryland by Glo from MTN.

The colour of the tunnel is
currently switching from Yellow to Green while the overpass billboards have also been changed.
Brands are deploying strategies
that will further increase their visibility to current and existing customers.
