A CRY FOR FUEL

Fellow Nigerians,

Let’s sing the song of solidarity

With one another,
Our leaders perpetual excuse,

The last resort of the common man,

Is on a race,

Racing from the mouth of marketers,

Racing from the hands of consumers,

Racing from the global community,

Racing continually.

For nations that do not have

Consume in required quantity,

For our nation that has

It’s still the song of dearth,

Join me in this cry,

A cry for fuel since discovery!
