Waking up to imagine myself,
Myself as the husband of a lady,
The lady is my wife,
My wife is the mother of my child,
My child as ours.
Waking up to imagine myself,
Myself told stories of my wife’s pregnancy tales,
Tales that made us bond,
Bond so much to a fault,
Faultless love we have,
Having fun all along.
Waking up to imagine myself,
Myself rushing to get the daily bread,
Bread on the table,
Tabling my needs to God,
God never disappoints.
Waking up to imagine myself,
Myself as the mogul,
Mega employment,
Employing skills professionals,
Professing good Christian faith.
Waking up to imagine myself,
As a proud father,
Father of glorious children,
Children also with children,
Children creating joy,
Joy to meet my God.
Waking up to imagine myself,
Myself in the bosom of the Lord,
The Lord welcomes me home,
Home I am,
Am no more of the world,
World of sin.
